Excellent school with all classrooms that have a touch screen computer mounted in front allow student to complete work hands on.

This website needs to update it's info. Mr Uribe was 3 principals ago. In a two and a half year span this school changed VPs 3 times and principals 3 times. The teacher to student ratio listed is incorrect. The correct ratio is much higher than listed. Not enough actual teaching/explaining/practice time for math and reading/writing. Topics are rushed through, tested weekly then on to the next section. A lot of teachers seem great though but they have way too many students at different levels in one class. A lot of students for a small building. Seems very disorganized and a lot of miscommunication or no communication at all between staff.

So far it seems like a good school, great teachers, and is safe. Only downfall is...DO NOT expect to find things out, as communication is THE WORST that I have ever experienced. You either don't find anything out, or hear about it after the fact.My son was finally excited to join a sport, as were we. When I reached out to the coach to see how to go about getting him on the team, I quickly noticed that I had to be the one to keep asking all the questions. I was not given any information as to what to fill out besides the physical forms. My kid showed up for practice, which we only found out about from another student already on the team. I also had to ask what he will need for practice that upcoming week which would have been a perfect time to give me more information. My kid showed up to practice only to find out we needed to fill out more paperwork, and he was not officially on the team. Why not tell me this each time I reached out?! It isn't just the sports, its ALL middle school communication. I do hear the high school is MUCH better with communication.
