Staff needs to be on the same page, and they all should have the same information - I can ask 5 different staff members the same question and get 5 different responses. Teachers should be informed - sewms like administration is hoarding information bc teachers can't answer questions bc they honestly do not know procedures at the schoolParent Review6y ago6 Reviews - Ps Ms 29 Melrose School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall the school is okay in the sense that it's a school and it's close by. Many of the students know of one another from being in the same neighbor Hood, but it definitely has alot of things it needs improvement on. I hope the new changes happening now including having a new principal helps make the 2020 school year a more positive one. There are a few great teachers and most of the staff I do know of are very professional in their job titles, others on the other hand are rude and need to be retrained to work in a school setting period. I hope this school starts to improve soon. It can be alot better.Parent Review6y ago2 Reviews - Bronx Haven High School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBronx Haven is haven sent. My son was behind in his credits, hating and cutting school for over a year. We found Bronx Haven and in one year he has received 3 perfect attendance awards a best student award and he loves going to school. I no longer have to bug him about his school work or even getting up in the morning. Bronx Haven High School is the best.Parent Review13y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near 418 E 153rd St #3F.

"There’s a basketball court inside a building near me and I believe that makes it special because the sport brings all people together and able to motivate each other to build a better future"

"It’s coming up. Lots of new building, that means it’s getting gentrified, so I guess that’s a good thing but other than that it’s Not safe at night. Lived here for 37 years. "

"This neighborhood is not as safe as it looks although the precinct and fire station is right across the street. Upside is there are a lot of things that are in walking distance and third Ave is a hop, skip and jump away. If your out during the day it is ok but late at night just be mindful of your surroundings"

"the fact that some buildings don't accept dogs, some buildings are friendly with dogs some are not. I would also say having to walk the dogs to a nearby park they don't have a park close enough where they can take the dog out to play and where it does his business at "

"Mind your business and you should be fine. All in all it’s not a bad neighborhood. There’s parks around each other and places you can dine in and out. Many activities around you but yes the area is rough around the edges "

"A lot of schools around and parks for children to play. Also there are hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and a lot of corner stores. There is also easy accessibility to bus and trains. Precinct is in every neighborhood. "

"The Bronx is a very beautiful city and I would definitely recommend living here especially if you enjoy peace and quiet, yes there are certain neighborhoods that spark attention and negative perspectives but it's to be remembered that it happens anywhere you go. "

"Nothing the cops don’t help the way they’re supposed to and the people want to be neighborly when they want to simple. Only thing I know is that the Bronx is okay but most of the times depending where your at it can be very crazy and I was burning and raised in the south bronx "

"Very close to Lincoln hospital, fire department and police stations. This should be a selling point for safety, however during the midday the area is full of drug addicts. And early morning and late night the sounds of sirens will wake up even heavy sleepers. "
