10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere’s a lot of negative reviews here by parents of students who seem to have several psychiatric issues. It’s not the job of a school system to treat your kid, nor can they control everything that is said or done by the other kids. I have a kid with Asperger’s who got his share of teasing, and another who’s more the all-star type. The school did fine for both of them. Life isn’t always 100% “fair” and the complainers here seem to have missed that lesson somewhere. Overall the kids and teachers are super nice and a lot more gracious than what I experienced in the 80s. Kids will be kids, and if you’re wanting a perfect holding environment where your kid is guaranteed to never be insulted, I guess go pay for that. But let me warn you: The Real World awaits your kid. Might be a good idea for them to learn how to handle things now, rather than be misled by your good intentions.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - University Park Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe new principal and counselor are insufferable. They care more about charitable contributions (for their own pockets) than academics. Their attention goes to the highest bidder. Not academically minded at all. Like one reviewer mentioned, all the good staff left.Other Review4mo ago8 Reviews - McCulloch Intermediate School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't know if you saw my previous review, but I LOVE this school. This school is AMAZING and my son comes home everyday satisfied with his learning. The learning environment is supportive and everyone is friends with each other. One especially amazing teacher is Mr. Tannenbaum, the director of orchestra. My son adores his class, and loves playing viola with his best friends. Thank you so much to the teachers and administration at McCulloch for making this school an amazing place to learn.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 4148 Grassmere Ln.

"Dogs are everywhere but some people walk their dog off-leash which can be annoying if the dog is not well-trained, but most are. Lots of dogs are good buddies here."

"People are friendly, schools are great, lots of dog lovers, people take care of their homes and yards - but there’s little ethnic, racial and political diversity so it can be stifling for those who are different "

"I’ve lived here for almost 20 years and particularly like the small town feel - even though we are in the middle of Dallas. Nice people and great city management. Great place to raise families... lots of traditional values. (Some folks seem less dog friendly than it used to be due to new people who aren’t used to dogs I think.) "
