"Live in the country on a Farm to Market road about 8 miles north of town..Reasonably quiet peaceful neighborhood with little crime. Mostly multi cultural blue collar workers just tryin to make a decent living and take care of families."
  • Jerry Devlin
"Great multi cultured community of mostly blue collar factory workers just tryin to make a decent living and support their families. Very little crime probably more petty theft. No real or violent crime! I feel safe here.."
  • Jerry Devlin
"Lived in this community for 9 years. Most here are hard working honest blue collar folks. Reasonably quite and peaceful area with virtually no criminal activity. Community has a cross section of nationalities and everyone gets along well and minds their own business. I feel safe here."
  • Austin
"This is a fantastic town with plenty to offer. The downtown area has really become a great place to visit and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. What sets MP apart are the people here. Very family oriented and loving community."
  • Tara.allen
"It’s gated, peaceful, and my neighbors are hard-working & friendly people. However, I am looking for a house because I’m tired of living in an apartment. Especially since it’s on the 2nd floor."
  • Tara.allen
"There are nice parks, and decent people here in Mount Pleasant. I am looking for a home, however, the prices are a bit high for a town that really has nothing to offer,"
  • Tara.allen
"Mount Pleasant is very small with very few options for nice living. Most of the residents were born and raised here. No one is moving into the city because there is nothing to offer. The nice houses are way too expensive for this area."
  • Pamela D. H.
"My neighborhood is secluded and safe. It’s close to shopping and easy to navigate by car. Small town living at its best. "
  • Suzette M.
"It’s an awesome neighborhood. Safe and private. I hope that whoever buys this home will love it here as much as we have. "
  • Suzette M.
"Great neighborhood with great neighbors!! Close to shopping! Safe and easy access in and out. Love the quietness and all the country style living. "
  • Jamila R.
"People regularly walk/run with their dogs. There is a park nearby as well. Lots of people walk their dogs there. I don't like that most pet owners do not pick up after their dogs."
  • lsadavis
"LOT of traffic thru here. It's one of the main ways to get to one of the elementary schools and the high school/junior high. There is a food bank on the corner and that brings in some drama at times. This is a quiet neighborhood for the most part with lots of working people and some families with older teens. All the areas on this side of town are mix race. People pretty much mind their own business though. Not a lot of cop call-outs for noise or fighting. Not a lot of stray animals and Code Enforcement comes thru on a regular basis. It's a pretty street for the most part. "

"One of the better areas in Mount Pleasant. Surrounding woods and creeks make a great setting. Walking distance to Dellwood Park so its great for kids too!"
