My child is a kindergarten student & he absolutely loves going to school everyday. He adores his teacher, she treats him with so much kindness & patience. Mrs. Barrett is just the sweetest. All of the staff we have encountered thus far have been wonderful. Mr. Davino stands out as a very dedicated principal who is exceptionally passionate about every student getting a quality education & being treated fairly along the way. There is an abundance of resources available to all students and their families to help combat any barriers along the way. The school’s use of positive reinforcement encourages each student to be proud of themselves & build their confidence. We could not be happier with the elementary school we’ve chosen for our first child. Knowing they treat our baby with kindness & fairness has helped us ease into this new chapter of life.

Just appalling... The St Lucie County school system is broken. So happy that I can work 2 jobs and send my child to private school. No opportunity for advanced learning and the gifted program is a joke. It is all about the money the county gets for the school - If you r child is smart, apply for a scholarship for one of the private schools.. Really a travesty for the next generation. Shame on you St Lucie County,, Step up!

I would not recommend Chester A. Moore K-8 based on my child’s experience. The school didn’t feel like a true middle school environment. It often felt more like an elementary school, which made it difficult for my child to feel like they were growing, becoming more independent, or getting the middle school experience they were expecting.My child also didn’t feel supported or welcomed, and it often seemed like their concerns weren’t taken seriously. Communication with the school was frustrating, and I felt there was a lack of transparency when issues came up.As a parent, I want my child to feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn, but unfortunately that wasn’t our experience. I believe the school has room to improve when it comes to student support, communication, and creating an environment that better meets the needs of middle school students. Every family’s experience is different, but based on ours, I wouldn’t recommend this school.

Pathetic school made me switch 5 classes while I’m supposed to be in only 1 class and have the audacity to say that I’m inexperienced I guess everyone is inexperienced because of changing classes everytime I did what I’m supposed to do

As a community member, I see that the staff and administrators at Parkway are phenomenal with the students. They work tirelessly to help student a make gains and build in social-emotional time to help counteract the negative ascents of bullying. They teach see something, say something. They also use social emotional time to have emotional check is with students and validate their feelings. Lessons from Sanford Harmony are provided for each grade level to help build a single school culture. Great things are happening and academic gains are being made. It is taking time, but it is happening. Don’t discount this school, it’s staff, and especially it’s students.

this is a wonderful school,i am very pleased with all areas and staff and i must add that mr. hitsman the principal is the greatest,he truley cares for every child and their family's as well. I can not say enough about him he is so wonderful,and i am blessed my only son and two nieces have the opportunity to be under his and his staff's care, it is truly and honer. I can only wish my son ron will be as great of a man he is one day!! And his teacher ms. Barnet is the greatest as well she truly has impacted and is so very dedicated to all of her students!!!
