Great school. Set me up for success. I highly recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend this school anymore since the principal, Mrs. Scott, retired. It is more like an Alternative school than one that cares about all the students' safety and education. It is full of students who have been expelled and kicked out of other schools, and they are not accepted at any other school except Zach White. They won't protect your child from bullying, and they will likely protect the bully and give them a pass without facing any consequences for their vicious actions; in fact, they are capable of switching the role and making the bully the victim. Many teachers are not happy, the students are out of control, many open vacancies that are filled by substitutes. The New Admin is missing a lot of important educational events and has no plan.

I have had a wonderful experience this year as a Murphree parent. My child is loving the classes, teachers and classmates in the middle school. Episd makes it easy to check grades and communicate with the teachers through the parent portal and the app. The uniform is flexible compared to our previous school and my child seems more comfortable and happy with this school than the previous one. I can see big improvements in her grades and attitude. The school also has a variety of clubs and extracurricular to keep kids engaged and the discipline is excellent.
