About this House

We have been pleasing tenants by offering rentals through in-person viewings and 360-degree virtual tours for over thirty years!
The peaceful, quiet, owner-occupied, established community and historic neighborhood of many retired and working families awaits its next good neighbor. The home is available because, once again, long-term tenants saved so much by renting with us that they purchased their own home elsewhere! Tenants ask to buy our properties, but we do not sell homes. We rent them.
Will you be the lucky future tenants to enjoy the quality home? 98% of our tenants rent long-term until they purchase their own home elsewhere because we offer them "Home Sweet Home!"
Hermann Homes LLC has participated in the Bloomington rental inspection program, earning an A rating for 35 years! We participate in the Ameren and Nicor gas home energy efficiency program, which updates the electric, gas, and water systems and helps keep utility costs low!
Before it was cool to recycle and diminish one's footprint on our beautiful planet, we promoted using the Constitution Trail and bus! Our properties have proximity to business and cultural arts, shopping, entertainment, and restaurant districts!
Located in Bloomington's largest and oldest 26-block Historic Dimmit's Grove community of friendly neighbors with festivals, flea markets, teas, and tours, our tenants become a community.
This homeowner-occupied, quiet, established residential area is within walking distance to Epiphany Farm's farm-to-table restaurant and Coffee Hound's award-winning coffee shop. Stroll the farmers' market and attend Downtown events without a car, all while enjoying the quiet of residential living.
This three-bedroom, two-full-bath home was rebuilt from the original floor plan, and the kitchen was updated in September 2023! A new wood-planked side-porch ceiling, an exterior door to the kitchen, a barn-style bathroom door, a new wood-planked sunporch ceiling, and new landscaping with a retaining wall were completed in Spring 2026. New concrete, sidewalks, and driveway installation is in progress! The virtual tour shows the unique kitchen bistro table that opens to seat six, and the mobile Butcher's block that serves as a unique kitchen island. The island/table can be separated and arranged according to tenant preferences!
This adorable three-bedroom, two-bathroom home features central air, reversible ceiling fans, a large great room, and a large eat-in kitchen. The kitchen flows to an attached hot tub-ready deck for fun entertaining!
A sun porch, tiered decks, and a wraparound porch surround the living room, providing even more indoor-outdoor entertainment space. Laundry areas and dry basements are play and hobby spaces, as well as good storage areas.
A private fenced garden-ready and pet-friendly yard backs up to an alley.
The doors open onto covered porches and decks, and the laminate floors minimize pet paw-print cleanup.

The rent price is several hundred dollars below market value! The Zillow rent estimate is incorrect because McLean County records do not reflect the significant improvements made during the rebuild. For example, it only has a record of two bedrooms and one bath! The home has three bedrooms and two full baths with showers and bathtubs, among many improvements. The home is vastly underestimated due to the lack of updated information. A new Appraisal completed in July 2026 should soon show the correct information.
