5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad to find out from my coworker who was in my graduating class that LHS already has had reunions for the class of 2018, weird that both myself and my husband NEVER received any invitation to this event even though we both were in the class of 2018 and we still live in Lancaster. Glad to see theyre still playing favorites school sucked anyway i remember a teacher that constantly complained that i smelled like an ashtray both of my parents smoked and i was a minor who couldnt change that but that didn't stop her from making a comment almost every class and the old culinary teacher didn't care about you and basically gave up on you unless you were planning on going to culinary school after high school.Other Review9mo ago7 Reviews - Tallmadge Elementary School

I just graduated my youngest from Ewing, and I just wanted to say that I'm grateful to everybody for being so good to my kids and helping them with their education. Thanks to the hardworking folks at this school, my kids are off to a great start in high school!Parent Review8y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 410 E Chestnut St.

"Small town feel with big city options. Neighbors are friendly, very quiet neighborhood, lots of wildlife even being 5 minutes from everything. Easy access to Columbus and other larger cities "

"There are not a lot of families with kids in them. My kid has a hard time finding kids that live here all the time and don’t just visit. "

"My commute is 34 miles mostly via the highway. It’s manageable and worth it to live here. Occasionally an accident can delay the commute but that can happen anywhere. "

"In and around Lancaster is easy but must own personal vehicle. Commuting to Columbus can be tedious. Traffic on 33 very heavy during rush hour "

"About 35 minutes to downtown Columbus. There are several ways to get there but traffic is usually horrible"

"I am near everything in my community. If I can't get to ut by walking or driving, the bus is on its first stop in my area and starts at 8am. This area isn't to bad but I would nit recommend my apartments to anyone. They are invested with drugs, bugs and and slum lords. But the houses and area around are very decent."

"I’ve lived in this area from birth until 19 or 20 I moved away for about 15 years maybe a few more growing up it was a safe area neighbors friendly could leave your door unlocked I would not really be able to say the same now as most of small town USA it has been taken over by drug pushers and users this area is known for methamphetamine use and manufacturing wish it was how I remember it growing up but I still wouldn’t say it’s the worst area it’s just not as wholesome as it once was"

"People drive, skateboarding and kids riding their bikes but it’s scary because the drivers go so fast it’s scary. More younger families are moving on my as my Street is going through these changes."

"People complain too much about the barking of other dog owners. If you have a dog it will bark, if you don’t like it go live in the country. Dogs WILL bark. "

"Dog owners would not like the really ferocious breeds in Lancaster because they do not know boundaries and when not to chase after other animals"

"Activities for the young and aged just about weekly. Yard sales, Christian Events, meals on the grounds, Weddings, private parties, craft shows, swimming, picnicking, "

"I wouldn’t say that it’s the worst place, but it’s definitely not the best either. Lancaster is becoming more populated and because of that, there are a lot more crimes."
