4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average*1/5 stars*Lancaster High School is literally THE WORST. I just got kicked out of my own class... LIKE WHAT EVEN IS THAT?!?! They let some new dude in and just booted me to some random class with people I don't even know. And the admin is all "oh well, can't change it"... UM, YES YOU CAN. It's not like I'm failing or anything. I'm literally just stuck with a new schedule because some dude wanted to switch classes. Highly recommend avoiding this school unless you want to be treated like a total afterthought.Want me to add anything?Other Review8mo ago12 Reviews - Desert View Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don’t write reviews but I would like to share my honest feedback for parents thinking of enrolling their child at this school. My experience at this school hasn’t been great at all as far as employees, principal and disciplinary actions. However, the teachers have made a lot of effort into supporting the students, although I believe they needed teachers' aid at the beginning of the year. It was not until the last months of the school year that they received extra support and teacher assistance. Thought the school year, my child has been bullied. The times that I’ve gone to the office, I overhear between staff and front desk employees talking badly of parent(s) and have an attitude when speaking to students . In one occasion a parent was upset that her child got suspended when the student was acting as “self-defense” during an argument with a student. I talked with a few parents from the school and their child has also been bullied. Their form of resolution is creating distance/separation among students instead of creating friendships etc. I believe this form of discipline defeats the purpose of protecting other students as well. As far as academic because of covid-19 it has changed the dynamic of learning, students would loose interest or were easily distracted at home learning. Teachers lost connection on few occasions that disrupted the lessons. Going back to school was a complicated transitioning as my student felt anti-social because of the covid restrictions in class. During these 2 school years. The impression I get is that they lost respect and dignity for parents.I will not mentioned names for privacy reasons. On one occasion a person assisting with a bullying resolution was making false statements as I confirmed with my student; promised to follow up with both student but failed to do so. Until I brought it to her attention. That experience alone made me realize that they don’t have the best interest in supporting students with fairness and transparency. All I could say is that they need better training, school values and improved code of ethics for students and families. I finally decided it’s best to relocate and remove my student from the school. I'm going to a recommended school for this upcoming year. I really hope for everyone staying perhaps decides to participate in PTA meetings etc. to know exactly what the school is doing to improve relationships with families, employees and teachers.Parent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Piute Middle School

"This neighborhood was built on 2017 so pretty much one owner houses, quiet, lovely & clean, you don’t see a lot of people walking on the streets, your exercising walking their dogs pick up their mail and people delivering packages. Nothing else not too many kids playing on the street"

"Neighbors are friendly and if you’re looking for an affordable property that is only an hour drive from Los Angeles city …this is for you. Descent neighborhood and has the things you needed on daily basis that are only few minutes away like supermarkets, restaurants, drugstores, etc. it’s a well kept place within the LA county that is not so crowded, no traffic, and skies are clear. "Dog owners would like a much bigger dog to protect themselves. Dog owners should be cautious of wild life During the summer. Area gets really hot and is not ideal for long noon walks. Do not leave your small dogs out in an open area unattended."
