Lack of consistency in communication, lack of holistic approach in assessing kids performance, and poor communication with parents on kids performance. Lack of use seesaw application. School seems to have improved but still has a long way to go. That alone speaks for itself.The system gave up on homework. Half the teachers took weeks to grade exams and provide feedback. "Douglas Park is a transitional neighborhood. The houses and the lots are small, but generally well kept. Shirlington Village is walking distance, which makes it feel like more of a community. "

"West Village of Shirlington has a ton of amenities. The pool is amazing during the summer. No need for a gym membership, as the community has an awesome gym in the club house - not to mention the pool table, poker tables and grills. Very pet friendly neighborhood. 10 minute stroll to restaurants, bars and shops in Shirlington Village. Easy access to 395. Fantastic area all around! "
