Description

Cottage in sleepy winery town. Bedroom on main floor, two bedrooms upstairs. Wood burning fireplace, heat pump, house is fully insulated and energy efficient yet has original plaster walls and old moldings and charm. Entire house was remodeled in 2008 and 2024 - has new appliances, cabinets, bath fixtures, and newer carpet and newly refinished hardwood floors, etc. The lot is fully fenced.
Plenty of storage. Lots of parking including offstreet parking for RVs or boats. Shared use of garage, although it does not have electrical service.
Rent is $2500. I can also rent this home with the downstairs fully furnished (includes queen bed, television, sofas and chairs, dining room tables, area rugs) for $3000/month, for a minimum of three months. I remodeled this home with the idea that it would be sold or used as an AirBnb but then ran out of steam.
Yard care is included in rental price, unless you have a dog, in which case there will be an additional $100/month surcharge for bimonthly yard maintenance and this will include lawn mowing and shrub maintenance but not pet waste removal.
The layout is that the main bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor. There are two rooms upstairs with closets, but the larger one is open to the stairway and has a sitting area, and the smaller bedroom is in the rear.
Due to ongoing security issues with housing rentals, this is how it will work: Please respond through the Zillow rental app, and never give anyone deposits etc. without viewing property first and meeting owner/property manager on site. This will be rented directly through the owner (me), but I have a person who will meet you onsite first to show you the interior. She's a local resident and can answer limited questions. Nobody will ever ask you for cash or a check until you've cleared the application process first.
Clean credit and criminal check will be performed on all adult applicants. I will screen each party in the order received.
Currently unoccupied - available for move-in immediately.

All utilities paid by tenant. Initial lease length is flexible, six month minimum, your choice in length. One pet is allowed, a cat or small dog, $200/each deposit.
No smoking.
