6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am in the Academy for science medicine and research, and they offer great help and opportunities. They have helped every second of the way making sure that I learn everything required. The teachers offer help when needed, and the students in my classes are there to learn. I have run into problems with people in my school being harsh on each other, as well as some people will look down on other students as if they were lesser than them. I have also had problems with some teachers being unjust when operating a classroom. Overall, the school is a great place to learn and grow with your peers.Student Review1y ago - Sam D. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of a Kindergarten & 2nd Grade student at Panter, we absolutely love the school. The teachers have been fantastic through our experience; inviting, friendly, engaging with students, caring and informative with parents on what is being taught. The entire staff has been great. Our entire family thinks the world of Ms. Smith the principal. My boys consider her a friend and feel comfortable talking to her in the halls, that makes my Momma's heart happy. She is always friendly and has an open door policy to parents. The staff is always open to questions and conversations, the school feels warm and friendly. My boys are learning a lot and we love our Panter family.Parent Review6y ago - J. A. Dobbins Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTotally unhappy the ways they have treated my grandson! He was recently diagnosed with ADHD and ASD! The episode that happened this week with them before I could even get there to him they let him craw and scratch himself with a pencil for 30 minutes because I was 30 minutes away. they were six adults in that room and did not stop him. And then other than that now they have gave him eight days suspension?Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 405 Settlers Ridge Ln.

"Dogs on leash and other pets are very welcome. Also recently there have been several dog parks popping up in the neighborhoods which are not only fun for our best friends, but give their owners an opportunity to sit and rest after a busy day and chat with their neighbors if they wish."

"Depends on whether your going to work or shopping and what time of day it is. The work commute can be hairy so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there without taking unnecessary risks. Drive safely, you still have a lot of living to do! Hiram is what I call a “rural suburb” of Atlanta. So even though there are a lot of varied and extensive activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, it is a very short drive to many cultural and art exhibits, theatre productions and family entertainment parks like “Six Flags Over Georgia”. There is no lack of cultural, educational and yes “fun” opportunities in this area. So your commute to work could as long as 1 hour from Hiram to downtown Atlanta, or as short as 10 minutes if your lucky enough to work for the Wellstar Family Medical Practices or Facilities (for example).
