"Way too many people drive too fast down the streets. Please keep in mind children and pets play in the streets "
  • Jeremiah Garcia
"Its out of town but not to far. Prices of housing usually reflects it being off the beaten path. Good schools and community "
  • Kaskimaria
"I see people walking their dogs, hear dogs barking. Several of my neighbors have dogs. We do not own one personally, but know many dog owners. There is a dog park close by also, so that’s very nice. A perfect place to bring your dog to roam around."
  • Nikkiwheaton93
"It’s about 35 minutes to Vancouver . The drive is very beautiful. There is a lot of wild life and neat places to visit on the drive up. There’s a big skate park in town and a bar- and a local celebrity. Look us up! "
  • Mike G.
"The East Fork Lewis River is a wild and scenic river. It flows from the Gifford Pinchot National Forest just 10 miles upstream. There is a lot of wildlife, many bird species including bald eagles. You can watch the Salmon and Steelhead fish jump the falls during the spring and winter runs. "
  • Mike G.
"Dogs check their P-mail regularly. Ha ha. And yes, its a friendly place for the K9 variety here among the Doug Firs and Big Leaf Elms. "
  • Krioux
"It's a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Great people and we feel safe all the time. We like that it's walking distance to both the store and Primary school."
  • N. apostolic
"Don’t move here. The religious group is very separatist. If you are not apostolic Lutheran you will not be welcome. "
  • Katieyoyo
"This area is located in the fastest growing county in Washington. The town is within commuting distance to Vancouver and Portland. There is a real community in Yacolt. Neighbors know neighbors and the firemen know everyone. This is an ideal location for an environmentally conscious couple looking to soak up nature. I lived in the town for 3 years before being transferred to Florida and I miss it terribly. "
