My family is new to the Easton area and new to the school district. I find Palmer elementary to not be a very friendly and welcoming school at all. There are no minority teachers here and teachers speak to these children with frustration and no emotion or care for them. I have witnessed this too many times to count. I’m sadden. The front desk secretary also is super rude and no personality and neither a principal. I’m sad that I feel stuck at this school for 5 years. I’m sad that every day I drop my child off to a school for 8 hours a day with adults who truly hate their jobs and couldn’t care less about my child. It scares me to think if an emergency these are the adults that would be securing his/her safety. They really should do better. I would love to discuss my concerns with someone who actually would care but there isn’t anyone in this school district who would listen.

The school provides a lot of variety of classes but you need to stay on top of the grades. Most teachers are great and really care about their student achievement. Teachers do sometimes forget to put them into the system until it is too late to question a grade. One waited almost a month and a half to upload a grade. There also isn't a real emphasis on post-secondary school life (college or trade school). If I had known that I would have to act as a teacher policeman I would have chosen a different school district and moved..

This school is a terrible place. The teachers don't know how to teach, they just scream at you instead of taking actual disciplinary actions. This school has very discriminatory students and the teachers do nothing to stop it. Not to mention the principal is the worst human being I've ever met in my entire life. Some teachers actually do their job, but those are few and far between. They make unnecessary rules just to make the kids' lives worse. I would not go to this school, avoid if possible.
