My family is finally done with EAHS. My son just graduated -- barely. My daughter was a special education student. As such, there were very few resources for her. One of the few things she benefitted from was Art for Relaxation, provided by Ms. Symia and Communities in Schools. At some point, it was done away with due to lack of funding. Mind you, this is a school that favors athletes and especially football, above all else. That's where the money goes. Take a drive through there sometime. It is a very expensive sports complex that just happens to have a building with classrooms on it. Plus, millions upon millions of dollars for Cottingham Stadium. If you have a child in special education, be prepared to be an angry advocate to get what they need. Also be prepared to explain to the staff, including Administrators and security, how IDEA works and what their obligations are. They should really be more knowledgeable of the entire law. Some teachers are really good, but a lot of them are ignorant and don't want your child in their classroom. Also, counseling is basically non-existent. So if you think your kid might slip through the cracks, believe me, they will. This school can be a really rough place with lots of fighting and threats of violence. If I had to do it over with both of my kids, I would put them in a smaller, more manageable, more equitable charter school.

It's an overall okay school. If you wanna go into Music or Sports, this is your go to. They spend all their budget on it. They have really good Clubs, and you can find your people really quickly. My advice for upcoming freshman, or just need students.. Do not join so many things at once. Yes they all look very nice, and they really are. But it's stressful. Too many clubs, and extra classes will drown you. It's really easy to Pass with an 80 or above, just do you work and participate. Study for the tests.

Easton has great schools and wonderful teachers! Most students who put effort into their education and immerse themselves in clubs, sports, or other extracurricular activities have a great experience. Easton offers many higher level courses that are not offered at other area schools. In fact, several students from a nearby school came to Easton to take a class that was not offered in their home district. I noticed that one parent left a review saying he or she was from out of state and all of their children that were educated out of state received a better education than the child that went to Easton. Yet, this parent's grammar and spelling is atrocious...makes you wonder! Easton schools are relatively safe. Is there trouble? Occasionally, but nothing out of the ordinary. I don't feel unsafe walking the halls of the high school. My only complaint is the administration and their lack of support for teachers and other staff members as well as some of their unethical, "good ol' boy" behavior. Again, I think this is found in many school administrations and school boards around the country. Also, some of the administrators who engaged in this type of behavior have left the district and things seem to be slowly improving. Overall, if you come to school to learn you will receive a great education from teachers who care!

Personally, a hard 7/10, but some friends would say 3 or 4. It’s such a big, diverse school, everyone has their own unique experience. Whether that’s good or bad, not my place to say. My experience was good, not factoring in my personal issues with mental illness. Like, I barely graduated, but the teachers cared more and were more personable than Freedom High School in Bethlehem Area. Comparing my experiences with both school districts, I enjoyed my time at Easton High School.
