My wife loved going to this school and has so many memories! There is so much opportunity. The school district is in the middle of rebuilding and remodeling the whole school to make it the most up to date in Springfield! Staff and teachers really invest in the kids

The honors and AP classes were a blessing, and our student had very good relationship with certain teachers, and even had two mentors, one in the classroom, and one a coach. New blood was needed and changes did occur or the better. Bullying was an issue, especially for those taking the higher classes, or if "different." It was sad to see the old building torn down, as so beautiful, (I loved it) but it is done, and hope the next one will have some of the same character. I was proud my student went there and did incredibly well. More and better counseling a must. Stricter bullying policies must be in place. Family engagement good, but needs to be spaced for night workers, etc.

Terrible school. My child has been passed through several grades with a 2nd grade reading level. Anytime I ask about his reading level his teachers are always very unclear about his level. On the report card the reading level has always been left blank. When I asked the teacher, she said she didnt know how to enter it in the computer. I called the principle and she said talk to the teacher.
