5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely wonderful, I couldn't say enough positive things about my son's experiences, their educators and staff.I was nervous when my son started his kindergarten because he is behind in his development. He was 5, but talked and acted like a 3.5 year old, and he had social skill issues that he would no communicate to anyone other than me. His teachers helped him out so he slowly started getting out of his own shelf, started communicating. He also had learning issues that needed extra helps from teachers. School assigned teachers to help him with reading and math. When he was in 1st grade, his reading was at level 4 regardless how hard I worked with him at home. He was assigned to work with a Reading Recovery teacher everyday, and within 3 months he jumped from level 4 to level 18, something that both myself and Kumon tutoring center couldn't do in almost a year! Oh, and even recovery teacher and program supported us during summer. When I expressed I needed help to find books within his level to read during summer, they event sent home new books for my son to read, and during summer we checked in every week for progress and to borrow new books to read each week.Teachers communicated with me on a daily basis when they sent home homework. I am not sure how it worked for other students, but as my son was in a recovery program, he did have homework everyday. Decent homework that helped him making progress. He loved Riverview and his teachers so much to the point he hated weekends, spring & winter breaks, and summer breaks. All he wanted to do everyday is to go to school to learn because "it is so much fun to learn" and he was "building and extending his brain". We are both sad and missed Riverview as we moved. There are great resources and support from this school. Because of Riverview, my son had awesome experiences and memories of his journey.Parent Review1y ago - Banks Trail Middle

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat teachers and challenging but manageable GT curriculum. Little direct communication with parents but generally that’s age appropriate. Could offer better support for students around organization and time management. Great clubs! The kids overall have been friendly and when bullying happens my son said that peers don’t laugh or encourage it and even stand up against it.Parent Review8mo ago - Catawba Ridge High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has a horrible administration who couldn't care less about their students. I'm giving a 1 for special ed cause they quite literally make special ed kids carry trash around.Other Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 404 Morgan St.

"It’s a very fast growing bedroom community of Charlotte. Very different than it was ten years ago. The roads, schools, and retail are struggling to keep up with the influx. The new neighborhoods are attractive but it’s a shame how developers are allowed to clear cut acres and acres of forest to build them."
