Description

UPDATE: APPLICATION ACCEPTED. WILL REVIEW BACK-UP APPLICATIONS AS NEEDED. NO FURTHER SHOWINGS AT THIS TIME. Beach living at its best. Available to lease for the first time, this single-family home is only a half block from Shoreline and its gorgeous beach, biking/walking path, and parks. Walk your paddle board to the water! Fully updated home with an open floor plan and new kitchen in 2017, including custom cabinets. All new Italian porcelain flooring throughout, and updated bathrooms in 2017/2020. The owners had planned to stay, so updates were done thoughtfully with high-quality materials and craftsmanship. This is not a builder-grade flip. Part of the garage was converted into a laundry room/office (great for working from home), with a built in desk and storage galore (not included in square footage). The front yard was similarly redone, fenced in with low-maintenance high-quality artificial grass. The back yard has mature trees, and the side yard is fully fenced for outside storage or use as a dog run. Most of the property has new fencing. Eco Bee smart thermostat, ring doorbell, and ring security camera/floodlight over the garage. New garage door motor. Due to COVID-19, showings are available by appointment only to parties with serious interest. Please follow appropriate COVID-19 protocols by wearing masks, sanitizing your hands, and refraining from touching surfaces as much as possible.

Renter responsible for all utilities, except owner provides high-speed internet (subject to limitations - info available for prospective tenants). Pets are welcome, with an additional deposit. No pet "rent". Smoking is not permitted in the home. Garage fits one car, two in the driveway, and street parking is widely available. Apply on Zillow.

"Alameda is the gem of the Bay Area. You never have to leave the island, people are friendly and the weather is perfect"
  • Pacita C. D.
"Moving to Alameda CA is a joyous occasion for many people who have discovered this wonderful island city. Many of my clients commute to San Francisco. When they couldn't afford to buy in the City, they decided to look to East Bay. It doesn't take them long to fall in love with our island that is so private and secure, yet so conveniently located for easy access to other cities. There is a wonderful collection of vintage homes, ranging from beautiful Victorians, stately Tudors, charming Craftsman and many styles of bungalows. This is truly a history and architecture buff's paradise. Alameda has great climate, great schools, and believe it or not, a wonderful selection of restaurants and ethnic cuisine. SHOPPING. We think we've "arrived" now that our Alameda Town Centre shopping center by the beach features Trader Joe's, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, TJMaxx, Kohl's. In May 2008, the historic and restored Alameda Theater opened its doors to our first 8-cineplex. DOWNTOWN. As for fine restaurants....the chef of the famous Baywolf Café in Oakland has opened his own restaurant in Alameda called Pappo's. We also now have a Cuban restaurant called Havana's. There's a really good Vietnamese restaurant called Dragon Rouge, the freshest sushi at Yume, dim sum at EastOcean, and more. And now, we have Zen Asian Fusion Tapas Bar, Spice I Am (Thai), Burmese Super Star, Angela's Bistro opened next to the newly restored an historic Alameda Theater. Besides the competing coffee powerhouses Starbucks and Peets, wine afficionados can go to Alameda Wine Company for wine tasting and to pick out wines from California and from all over the world. EASY COMMUTE. We commute to San Francisco via ferry and express bus to SF. Or take the regular bus to Oakland to catch BART. But the express bus and the ferry are the best and most enjoyable ways to go to the City. ALAMEDA SCHOOLS. Alameda has great schools, and is the school scores are collectively better than other cities."
