This school is horrible. They state to have an anti bullying policy, but there is none. The teachers are over worked and underpaid. The principal is slow to partner with parents about any issues or concerns. There is little to no communication. Their after school program is under funded and is in serious need as well.

12- year parent of KCPS, with a Junior at Central. The school has been excellent for us. Their rookie robotics team went all the way to the World Championships this year, which we were apart of. Our Junior is interning with Cerner twice a week, through the school. Our grades are great, the teachers have been exemplary, the only thing missing is the support of the broader community. It’s unbelievable that such a great facility is so vastly underutilized by midtown Kansas City. I’m frankly embarrassed by my neighbors, but thankful for our school community.

School is too strict . Going here is miserable I love some of the teachers but they treat us like code and number!Im very overwhelmed I’ve been working all week cause they kicked me out since I had no shots and catching up and test is too much it’s like they dont care school is tearing me apart .
