6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student but I will share my experience in Mountain Range High School anyway. I was enrolled to that school months ago and most of the teachers were nice to me (including my former counselor). My interactions with some staff/admin and students went well. I was happy to come back to that school until a few weeks later because On September 5th, 2025, I was doing a history test in another classroom with a few other kids. Several minutes later, This rude teacher checked up on those students and I to see how we were doing on our test and I told her that I was doing good then after that that same rude teacher told me to speed it up on the test because there was only 15 minutes remaining with a nasty attitude (even though there was another day to finish the test). Because of that experience with that teacher, I was scared of coming to that school because I was scared of dealing with her again. After that bad experience with her, she continued to be rude to me because I didn't stand up for myself. So teens if you are reading this review, If a teacher is rude to y'all, stand up for yourselves so that way they won't continue to mess with you. Parents if you are reading this review and you're kid/kids have IEPs or 504 plans, Please don't send them to this school because they will probably deal with the teacher that I had to deal with. Thank you all for reading this review.Other Review3mo ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 4020 E 119th Pl #B.

"Very well maintained areas nice parks with playgrounds as well as open spaces. We live in a newer part of Thornton so food is a little farther away but in about 10-15min you’re on the 25 then you can head anywhere."

"I really don’t like the area. Lots of crime and it’s very uncomfortable. There are some nice parks in the area that are nice but you have to watch your back at all times. "

"So much crime! It’s so hard to feel safe or that your property is safe. It will be a blessing when we are able to get out of this city or state!"

"People are friendly, and it’s a safe place to live. People are out walking their dogs a lot. It’s relatively quiet and pretty peaceful around here. Streets are well lit, and sidewalks/roads are in good shape."

"It’s quiet regardless of how many cars there are it’s peaceful, no loud music just crickets and birds. It’s as if the entire neighborhood is problay full of elderly hence why there are no loud noises not even at night. You may hear a car burn out if your outside from afar but that’s bout it. I see no other reason not to live here. I haven’t heard of any robins or killings in the area or gunshots, and no people using illegal drugs either."

"A gazillion miles away from anything. There's transit but the routes are awful. The neighbors seem friendly, but are extremely stand off-ish when it comes to newbies in the community. Otherwise it's a cute community. "

"Trunk or Treat for Halloween. Thornton Fest in early summer. 4th of July fireworks show which is very unique. Pirate Fest in early autumn, at Webster Lake. Numerous Xmas lights all over the place, most notably, what my family has dubbed "The Box House", on Pecos St, just north of 100th. Numerous fireworks shows all over for New Year's. "
