Several rankings I clicked on said "data from 2014."Currently, RCMS has great Elective programs -- perhaps the best Music (both Band and Chorus) in the district! Teachers care and work hard with students. All classes are rigorous and teachers have high expectations of all students.Facilities are old but have been reasonably maintained. RCMS has probably the best gym and stage compared to the other middle schools. Highly disorganized office, parking lot, and unprofessional office staff. School secretary uses improper grammar. "This is a truly wonderful neighborhood in Central Palm Springs, close to shopping, restaurants, hiking, golfing, indoor outdoor living. Homes are being upgraded and returned to their original mid century, Spanish and California Ranch designs. Spectacular weather nine months a year, mountain views and village living make it ideal for a rich enjoyable life style. "
