"As with all places, there are good and not so good areas. Overall, Ponca City is a great place. We have been here many years and are happy here. A few more things to do would be nice, as well as some more dining options (besides chicken and Mexican) would be nice too, but there are several larger cities an hour or two away that have more choices. "

"It takes me less than 5 minutes to drive to work. You can drive just about anywhere in Ponca City within 10 minutes. Traffic is notes bad as the larger Cities."

"There is a dog neighborhood watch in the back alleys between the houses. Once one dog goes off in the neighborhood, they all start going off. "

"Mostly quiet, with friendly neighbors. Some own loud vehicles but are for the most part courteous about using them, but not all. Dogs have occasionally been an issue, but the police and animal control do take action when required."

"The amenities and activities in and around Ponca allow for family time and date night for parents as well. The neighborhoods closer to the lake are quite for the most part except for the late night drag racing or the jet skis on the water. There is plenty of wildlife around some good and bad!"

"I lived in Ponca City for 53 yrs. and on Cooley Ave for 18 yrs The neighbors are very nice people that will help you when you need help, they look out for each other, I was not happy that I had to move. This would be a great neighborhood for anyone. This is a quiet older neighborhood close to everything. location, location, location."
