I am writing this as a parent whose child has experienced ongoing bullying at this school for approximately a year and a half.During that time, my daughter repeatedly reported harassment, name-calling, intimidation, and inappropriate behavior from peers. These reports were made to teachers, counselors, administration, and other staff members. I also communicated concerns directly through documented emails and meetings.Unfortunately, the bullying continued for an extended period despite these reports.In multiple instances, my daughter felt dismissed or labeled as a “tattletale” for speaking up. At times, she was placed in a behavior-monitoring program requiring daily teacher checklists, even though she was the one reporting being bullied. This made her feel as though she was being treated as the problem rather than being protected.There were also situations where teacher responses felt discouraging and unsupportive and down right inappropriate! As a parent, I made consistent efforts to approach the situation collaboratively and to consider all perspectives. However, I often felt brushed off or told concerns were being handled when my daughter’s experience suggested otherwise.It was not until sustained advocacy and escalation to the district level that meaningful accountability measures were implemented. After administrative intervention, there was noticeable improvement in my daughter’s sense of safety. However, the process to reach that point was lengthy and emotionally difficult.No child should endure prolonged bullying before effective intervention occurs. No family should feel that concerns are minimized.My hope in sharing this is not to attack individuals, but to encourage stronger, more consistent anti-bullying practices, clearer communication with families, and proactive protection for students who report harassment.Every child deserves to feel safe at school.

This school was so great for my 3 children, they all graduated and where accepted into Colleges, they have an excellent band program, football,basketball and swim programs!

We moved to get my daughter out of the school district as a whole
