Looking for someone to rent our basement unit. Available April 1, with some flexibility.
We are preferring a single renter.

PLEASE READ

No overnight parking available from Dec 15-April 1. You must not own a car or have another place to store it during that time period.

Friendly family looking for a single tenant who is also friendly, independent and a good fit for living beneath us and our 2 young children. Ideally you want a 6 to 12 month lease, with opportunity to extend if there is mutual comfort. Intermittent guests are fine provided you are reasonably quiet, clean and respectful. We will do our best to be quiet from 9pm-7am and ask you do the same. We will also not enter your portion of the house without 24 hour notice. Sorry but no live-in children please.

-Entire area recently renovated in 2022/23, lightly used since then
-Semi furnished (bed/sheets included) - can discuss other needed appliances such as
-Private Entry
-Private full bathroom
-Private kitchen/pantry. The kitchen will have a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and a portable stove with 2 burners. It will not have a dishwasher nor a stove.
-Private washer/dryer
-Separate office/living room area
-Easy street parking from April 1-Dec 15. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate off street parking during the overnight street parking ban Dec 15-Apr 1.
-Quiet, peaceful, residential area with easy access to Fells and other parks
-Utilities (Wifi, Electricity) included. Home is very green with a new geothermal heat pump and solar panels.
-5/10 minute drive to shopping, grocery, restaurants, Melrose MBTA Commuter Rail/Oak Grove Orange Line

Important:
-There is no off street parking. Stoneham has an overnight parking ban Dec15-April 1 every year.
-There is an area in the kitchen where the ceiling is only 6' off the ground. Please don't apply if that will be an issue. The office, bedroom and bathroom do not have this constraint.

-We are ok with cats, and small/quiet dogs. Please no large/loud animals, our daughter gets scared. We will collect a Refundable $1000 pet deposit which will only be kept if needed to restore damage to the department.

-No smoking, firearms, or anything we could reasonably view as a danger to our children.

-First month, last month rent and $1000 refundable security deposit due at signing. $4800 total. Additional $1000 pet deposit if you want to keep a pet.

Utilities (wifi, electricity, heat, ac) included

Looking for 6-12 month lease with ability to extend if mutual agreement
