About this House
OPEN HOUSE ON MONDAY 8/12/24 between 5:00 and 6:30.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so I will allow the pictures describe the home. Here are a few important details beyond the home itself:
Ownership
This home is locally owned and managed.
Philosophy
First, I recognize that people sometimes encounter financial challenges. Medical expenses, student loan debt, and family difficulties, can have a devastating impact on the financial security of individuals and families. Today, owning a home may be neither possible or desirable.
I have provided housing for more than twenty five years; first as a home builder, and now as an owner of rental homes. While the homes I provide today are not new, they are safe, clean and in good condition. I am honest when I tell prospective renters that "I would live in this home."
Management
I manage homes with a customer-focused, long-term perspective. Deferring necessary maintenance is counter-productive. Preventing issues is the goal. By not allowing smoking, cats, or dogs, the homes stay cleaner. Regular servicing of the furnace and air conditioner make failure less likely. Regarding my dealings with my customers, I pledge to be Responsible, Respectful, and Responsive.
Requirements
Great credit is always desirable, but a one year rental agreement isn't a thirty year mortgage. I prefer to realistically assess credit, and a good renter can be someone seeking to rebuild their credit. As an example, a recent bankruptcy is not a disqualifier. Rather, I see it as a fresh start. Please note, a clean rental history is a requirement. I will not rent a home to someone who has had issues with prior landlords. I want to be part of a process that allows people to rebuild their credit.
