My daughter had a wonderful time during her second-grade year at Loker. She didn’t speak English when she first arrived, but the teachers were incredibly kind and supportive. We are especially grateful to her homeroom teacher, Brian, the assistant principal, Catherine, and Principal Brian. They made us feel truly welcomed and cared for.It is also worth mentioning her English teacher, who always made learning the language enjoyable and stress-free. Her lessons were engaging and thoughtfully prepared, and my daughter grew to really love her classes.The principal attended every school event from beginning to end, showing great patience and love toward every child. Her homeroom teacher thoughtfully reached out to us many times to ask about my daughter’s dietary needs, making sure she would never be given food she was unfamiliar with. The assistant principal always informed us right away about anything we needed to pay attention to, which was exceptionally considerate and helpful.We are truly sad to leave such a warm and caring community.

The teachers are absolutely fantastic at this school -- not only did my child thoroughly enjoy his time at Claypit, but he grew immensely as a learner and person.

Amazing Teachers and great curriculum. Kids are encouraged to pursue what they are good at rather than follow the line.

My older child just wrapped up 8th grade and my younger is still in the MS. The staff and administration is wonderful. There is a lot of thought out behind social and emotional supports for tween/teens during these tough years of development. I truly appreciate the email blasts from the principal and the constant communication with the teachers as well. They’re very responsive and anytime I have an informal check in or question about my child, they’re very attentive in their responses and follow through. Last thing to add, although there will be an interim principal this year while the current one stepped into an executive administrative opportunity to support the needs of the current school system, she was never too busy to follow up, call back, or check in with my child. Regarding the curriculum, both of my children are bright. There have been highs and lows with my kids needing support and teachers make every effort to offer extra support opportunities- before, during, and after school. This staff works extremely hard and they’ve been A+ for my kids since 2020!! WMS has been solidly superb for my family.
