Both my children went through this school system my daughter a star student with all A’s got into their college program as a Junior in High school. She graduated from BCCC with her Associates and then graduated HS. With a full scholarship to finish her Bachelor’s. This has saved our family about $30-40k in college expensive. Most kids are very competitive with their grades. My son was totally opposite of my daughter. He was Special Education. Every year or more if needed the child study team along with his teachers sit down and we come up with an educational plan (IEP)for him. There have been time where the IEP need to be adjusted. Eventually with years of support he was able to go general ed in school and leave the special ed classroom. Even in General Ed I was able to work closely with teachers and principals. Bottom line is we had nothing but a great experience with the schools.

Worst School in NJ, maybe even the Country. They don’t try to help children and families in need. They try more to humiliate families into going to other schools-they have a kindergarten class with 24 students-which is absolutely ridiculous for a town who doesn’t even offer pre-k for families.

As a parent of kid with special needs, ive found the school and staff very accommodating and accepting of my child.The staff comes across as attentive and knowledgeable, has always been quick and thoughtful when answering any questions,bee have about our child and their progress.According to our child the teachers are, "fine" high praise from them, trust me.And as for student behavior and classroom environment, he did once mention he felt bullied, the situation was addressed and resolved to everyone's satisfactory.Also the as for safety, the school has a posted officer, and safety systems and procedures, and regular safety drills.All and all, while no school is perfect, Veterans Middle school is a good school, and doesn't deserve the all the 1 star reviews its gotten here
