The principal is engaging and the students seem to really connect with him, which is great to see. I’ve been a little (a lot) disappointed with engagement for new students/families though. We moved so this was a new school for us. Both teachers seemed very annoyed right off the had that we didn’t know certain things about the school. My oldest child got zero help with his student number, Chromebook, getting lunch, etc. He played by himself at recess for several weeks because no one even knew he was a new student. Other schools have always had a buddy program for new kids to show them around but my kids were left to fend for themselves. The scheduling is INSANE. Early out days are fine, but SOME early out days are completely different than others and you’re just supposed to magically know the difference. Sometimes I get the aeries messages/announcements, someone’s I don’t so the system is unreliable to say the least. Why doesn’t “early out” always mean the same thing? Who decided that was a good system? Overall the communications at the school is severely lacking and some teachers are clearly ready to retire and have completely checked out. I don’t blame them, teachers get treated terribly, but kids don’t know that and it doesn’t help their experience. Also PTA is impossible to get in to. You can pay your dues and sign up for the emails and never receive a single one. No response from anyone to get involved unless you’re always a part of their inner clique.

Worst than Hemet Unified Schools. I mean the teacher, staff including principal lie without a conscious. The principal lied and said i assaulted him, when all I was doing was advocating for my autistic son. The district even tried keeping me from seeing my 8th grade son graduate based on false allegations

This school exhibits significant favoritism and bias, with staff members and student leaders, often engaging in bullying and stereotyping, leaving many students feeling outcasted. There's a pervasive culture of brown-nosing and a lack of teamwork, making those who aren't part of the in group feel rejected. Also, the sports training is extremely harsh and often continues in extreme weather conditions, which can be detrimental to student well-being. The sports policies require parents to sign waivers, shifting all responsibility for any injuries or even fatalities onto the parents, highlighting , the severe and unsafe conditions that students face..Many teachers are passive aggressive and condescending , often treating students as if they're incapable of understanding or deserving empathy. When students face genuine hardship and request extensions, these teachers are often dismissive and unsympathetic, reinforcing an unwelcoming atmosphere. The pickup and drop off is horrid with parents and students often sitting through multiple green lights before moving forward, and once they arrive, the school's roadblocks and detours make it feel like navigating a maze. This frustrating routine happens both at drop off and pick up. The school food is bland and tasteless , with small portions that barely satisfy students , some of it tastes old and outdated, and the menu pictures on the their website are pure catfishing.
