"You’ll need to drive to most jobs as public transit doesn’t provide the kind of coverage needed to efficiently move into Detroit or the high density employment areas. Most of our neighbors have commutes of 15 minutes or less whether it’s side streets or highways. It’s a 15-20 minute drive into downtown Detroit or 15 minutes into Birmingham or Royal Oak in high traffic times. "

"Everything you could want, in a very walkable distance. I believe Berkley is the only school district in Southeast Michigan without School buses; everyone can walk. You can do the same to great food, nightlife, groceries, hardware, pharmacy, etc."

"I am new to Berkley, have heard good things about the area which aided me in my house search. I have lived in Berkley for 3 months now and I have to say that I absolutely love it!
