6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter had a horrible experience here. She was bullied and assaulted several times on school property and the principal only sent the kids to the counselors. I told her time and time again that the bullies needed to get suspended but she refused to do so, even with video evidence. Also, they had so many kids they were only allowed to move in one direction down the hallways and were not allowed to use the restrooms between classes or during class. Fort Worth ISD as a whole is trash. The only reason they have a high TEA report card score is because they refuse to suspend problem children, even when they are violent towards other children. Just look at the low number of suspensions on their TEA report card. Don't send your kids here if you care about their safety!!Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Alice Contreras Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school I wanted my child to be in was full so I resorted to Alice D because I saw potential, worst mistake ever! The teachers are rude and always in a bad mood. They treat the kids terribly. My son was hit every day at school even after talking to the teacher and principal. I had a child give me the middle finger in the pick up line and nothing was ever done. Please do not bring your kids to this school. My son did learn some things but he always came home with a scratch or a bruise.Parent Review4y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 3965 Merida Ave.

"Commuting between this area and Dallas or Fort Worth is good overall. 170 is a great option to access Hwy 114 to Dallas and there are toll road express roads south to Fort Worth if I-35 is congested. It is often congested during rush hour at I-35 and Heritage Trace."

"This particular area of Park Glen is very crime free. Lots of sport teams activities in the park across the street. Great walking trails. You walk, or run, a half mile, a mile, even 2 or more miles! Arcadia park across the street is also a flood zone which protects us from being flooded! "
