"I commute to Rocklin so it’s pretty easy…just hop onto Garfield and then hop onto the freeway. It’s pretty easy. Takes about 15-20 mins. Commuting around here is easy though…close to Roseville, Fair Oaks, Sac, Citrus Heights, etc"

"My mom has lived here for the past 12 years prior to her passing away recently. We know all the neighbors, their kids, & their dogs. Everyone here has been so kind to us the entire time we have lived in the neighborhood. We usually have a baked goods exchange during the holidays and we come together for a block party for memorial day & the 4th of july. I would recommend carmichael as a great area to live!"

"my neighbors are respectful and friendly. grocery stores are reachable and I can walk to the shops. I can walk my dog to the neighborhood and the walkways have enough light. only the road are old and most parts needed to be repair. over all I like this area because of security and closeness to the grocery stores. "marathons that go on once a year that make it difficult to commute and prevents u to leave your house. They have to close off all of fair oaks and part of sunrise. prevents access to sunrise marketplace. "
