9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLet me get this straight-this school RUINED my best friend's life. The house offices are absolutely HORRIBLE at their job. Just because he was struggling with so much, they KICKED HIM OUT OF THE SCHOOL for 2 WEEKS and attempted to take him away from his family and get them in court. The teaching is alright, but the students are so disruptive that you can get nothing done. You'd have to blast music at full volume through your headphones and you can still hear the kids, and it doesn't help that their horrible filtering-Deledao-just blocked Spotify. Deledao blocks literally EVERYTHING that looks even the slightest bit uneducational. The cafeteria food isn't well either-it's basically a health hazard. Their "sun butter" and jelly sandwiches made some kid throw up SIX TIMES IN A ROW. The students bully so much and are so obnoxious and nobody is willing to put a stop to that, though it's distracting their targets from learning and giving them negative self esteem. Some of the school busses are extremely late and horrible, with my bus being filled with the worst bunch ever possible. A bus rider's SISTER came to curse out the driver, too. IN SPANISH. The locker rooms are disturbingly weird-but that's mostly because of the students in there-and the bathrooms are constantly vandalized. Overall, if you want your child to suffer trauma filled early teenage years, then this is your school. Seriously, do NOT bring your kids here. They deserve better. Go to Dowell instead, I've heard it's the best middle school.Other Review5mo ago24 Reviews - Lizzie Nell Cundiff Mcclure Elementary School

"You have to have a car in order to commute there’s no buses coming to McKinney to go to Dallas it’s a new community where I live which is new Hope the street of still small and very narrow traffic is very heavy it takes an hour and a half in the morning to get to Mockingbird Lane which is very frustrating it is nice and quiet it’s just too many people moving here now"

"McKinney is a beautiful place with mature trees and well maintained foliage. There are working class people with well mannered children. I love Halloween because people trick or treat with their kids and some pets and people decorate their homes with a flair for fun! I would raise children here if I were younger but I enjoy being a empty nester! 😊"
