Commute Destination

Description

Easy commute to the Downtown LA area, USC, or Cal State LA. Near the 710, 5, 60, & 10 freeways. Near several elementaries, a new high school, and an award winning middle school. Neighbors are all nice families that have lived here for many years. This property boasts solar panels for the eco-friendly citizen. Driveway fits up to 5 cars. House has an orange tree and a nice backyard space for family barbecues or friendly entertainment. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom. Hardwood floors throughout the house. House has a fireplace to enjoy the warmth of a nice flame. The house is very near the Downtown Area for any student looking to live near downtown and commute or share a house at a good price with a roomate. The lease is good for 1 year and renewable. Great living arrangement with plenty of parking and a great place to host your private parties or to keep a pet. Backyard is large enough for a dog to run around. Built for a single family in need of a good home or a pair of working roomates that require a little more privacy than their current high-rise building allows. Security deposit is first and last month's rent.
2 car garage will not be part of the rented space. I am remodeling it. It has a really bad leak on the roof. 2 car garage is not part of the rented space.

Owner pays for electricity, trash, and sewer.. Wifi is included. (Need the wifi active to report the solar energy usage to Tesla). Renter pays water, and gas.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

  • Maryahduran80
"I lived here since I was in sixth grade and it's just a small cute town with friendly people and places to spend time with other people"
  • souza s.
"It is a predominantly working class community. The locals are mostly renters who are factory workers employed nearby Vernon. There is a lower middle class mostly tradesman who are either self employed or work for companies. There has been an increase of homeowners in the area. In addition with the 2007-2012 real estate market crash the demographics have been greatly shifted. This social flux ushered in a significant middle class that seems to be bourgeoning with small social pockets of affluent hipsters scattered throughout the city. This change can be seen at the local markets that now carry organic and environmentally conscious products as well as an increased selection of wines, craft beers, cheeses and exotic produce. Thus a sign of an educated palate vs. a big box retail generic. The schools are undergoing dramatic changes while switching to standardized tests that empirically measure aptitude and ability which are quantifiable versus classical subjective teaching. All schools are generally improving and meet or will meet state standards."
