"There is little traffic in our neighborhood. I feel like the children an play in the streets without worry. "
  • Jessica B.
"This place is a dump. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Car break ins daily, vandalism, just look at next door in the area for five minutes"
  • Trulia User
"Safe neighborhood, friendly. The surroundings are beautiful. Good for young families, shopping......"
  • Adrienne.kuchik
"Great area to live. It’s quiet, people are friendly, and it’s close to downtown without all the hustle. Most everyone takes care of their yard and people are friendly. "
  • Adrienne K.
"We always see people walking and always wave. We may not know all of our neighbors by first name, but when we see each other it is cordial. We’ve lived here almost 3 years and have seen lots of people come and go. Most houses are kept up well but some are not, but that’s true of anywhere. "
  • Adrienne.kuchik
"It’s quiet and friendly, for the most part. Always people outside. The HOA is a joke but overall the neighborhood is a good experience. "
  • Adrienne K.
"We have a community pool, tennis court, and playground. The streets are well lit and homes, for the most part, are well kept. Neighbors aren’t overly friendly, but they aren’t rude or standoffish. It’s a great place for a starter home. "
  • Adrienne K.
"I’ve lived here for almost three years and rarely have interactions with my neighbors. Most people don’t come outside. Our last HOA stopped mowing the field at the entrance to our neighborhood so my husband and some people across the street from us would mow it on our own. The homes are mostly well maintained but several are awful. I wish our HOA would do more to maintain their rules and regulations."
  • Alana C.
"Great community to live in. Great neighbors who care about their homes and their neighbors. Lots of families. "
  • Alana C.
"Not sure, I don’t have children. But I think it’s pretty safe and ppl seem to always be on the lookout and cautious of kids playing in the street and/or nearby. "
  • Adrienne K.
"Our neighborhood is quiet and most of the homes are kept up. The neighborhood is quite transient. Most people park on the street and in their driveway instead of their garages. Several homes in the neighborhood are not wrk taken care of and look pretty bad, which is embarrassing. "
  • Adrienne K.
"Lots a people walk their dogs every day. No dog friendly area though. Most neighbors are welcoming of pets. "
  • Adrienne K.
"There are always kids playing on the weekends. I wish our neighborhood was better with interacting with neighbors though. "
  • Paul R.
"Very big sub division with a wide range of homes. Country club, pools, tennis courts. Decent place to live. "
  • Allison L. O.
"There are many children in this neighborhood that play outside often! Additionally, there is a kindergarten academy and excellent elementary school housed in Southern Dunes! "
  • Robin H. G.
"This is an excellent neighborhood in Southern Dunes, with golfing, pools, tennis courts, clubhouse, elementary school and plenty of walking trails and beautiful landscaping."
