We absolutely love this neighborhood school. I have a second grader and a fourth grader, both of whom have attended Lemon Grove since kindergarten. The school has created such a wonderful community for families.The teachers truly care about the students and are accessible, engaged, and actively involved in their growth. Our boys are thriving academically and personally.Most importantly, Lemon Grove has provided the social and emotional support they need to build confidence and develop into kind, capable kids.Additionally, as a working parent, having LPCC after-care attached to the school has been incredibly valuable for our family. The convenience and consistency it provides make a huge difference, and it gives us peace of mind knowing our children are in a safe, supportive environment even after the school day ends.We feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Lemon Grove community.

If your child is academically high-achieving and looking for strong academic support and enrichment, this may not be the best fit. In my experience, the administration appears stretched thin managing a large number of behavioral and academic intervention needs. As a result, students who are excelling academically may not receive the level of challenge, attention, or opportunities they need to reach their full potential. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this school to families seeking a rigorous academic environment.

Didn't suck too much. Still wouldn't go back though. Got bullied and nobody did anything. Other than that it's pretty okay.
