Neighborhood Description

The neighborhood is just on the western edge of Santa Barbara city, between Foothill Rd and upper State St. Easy walking to shops and good medium-priced restaurants. It's about a mile from the freeway. Major stores and shopping are in walking distance. Our street is in the county and is a pleasant mix of renovated ranch houses, new houses, and old cottages. There is a neighborhood group for our block.

We have easy commuting access to both Goleta and downtown Santa Barbara, quiet streets, good schools. Bicycle riding is great.
