  • Rabbibrandon

  • Jilljodom
"Quiet neighborhood. Convenient location for groceries and restaurants. 20 minutes to the beach. Traffic can be frustrating. "
  • Rabbibrandon
"Low traffic, easy and effortless navigation. Very rare for there to ever be any traffic aside from accidents on the bridge occasionally. "
  • Corey Planck
"Me and my wife and four children have been visiting here 2 to 4 times a year for 23 years. We are considering moving here full-time great food great beach community."
  • Trulia User
"High concentration of short term rentals, very low level of permanent residents. Traffic can be bad during the summer. "
  • Ethel H.
"There are dog poop stations within the city boundaries. Some neighbors probably don’t like dogs that poop in their yards. "
  • Jwicook
"20 mins to Pensacola, 40 with peak traffic. The peak traffic times in Gulf Breeze is 7:30-8:30 A.M. and 4:00-5:30P.M."
  • Smokeyak
"It is safe at night. Might see occasional bear at night but rabbits hopping all over the neighborhood. "
  • Smokeyak
"Dog owners would just love my neighborhood. The people are very friendly. The traffic is very low. The yards are well kept up. "
  • Jennifer
"Plenty of spaces to walk dogs and most people pick up after their furry friends. Can easily find parks and public places for them to socialize."
  • Robin C. H.
"i grew up in Gulf Breeze and is widely considered the safest and nicest area around. No public transportation but it is a lovely place to raise a family"
  • Tonajay
"I can usually avoid hwy 98 by cutting through the neighborhood back roads. It may take a little longer but it’s worth it to avoid the traffic. "
  • Shesha4871
"Gulf Breeze schools are some of the best in the state of Florida. Gulf Breeze, for the most part, is a very affluent area and has an extremely low crime rate. The beaches in this area are some of the most beautiful in the state, in my opinion. The only drawbacks to living here are the threat of hurricanes (this is a very hurricane-prone area) and the high insurance rates that result. Also, Pensacola Beach has become quite the tourist trap and beach traffic is heavy in the Spring & Summer. "
  • Joseph B.
"Great area with great schools! Very friendly community with great people. Close to the beach an nature areas and minutes to Pensacola. "
  • Michelle P.
"Traffic here is horrible! Only one main road between cities. Lots of accidents and fatalities on the highway here. I’ve lived here for 40 years and its overcrowded here now."
  • Tonajay
"The only downside is there are no sidewalks to actually walk your dogs on. And people tend to speed up and down the streets. "
  • Ameliakennedy28
"Gulf breeze is a great little city! The perfect size community. They have visits from Santa and neighborhood hot dog parties."
  • 1sassybeachgirl68
"? Not sure what they would like since every pet owner and pet are different. There are no paths to walk. No sidewalks or private open areas to play "
  • Alan M.
"Horrible due to dumb bridge idea. Need a flyover to connect with I 110. Not sure why I need 100 characters. "
  • Rachaelbedell
"Halloween is awesome here. always have neighbors outside to talk to. Great family friendly neighborhood. Close to everything but quiet too. "
  • Leon W.

  • Cathycannon17

  • Timothy G.

  • Ann K.

  • Diana L. E.
"There are many families that live here full time and there are a lot that are only visiting. But overall people treat and take care like it is their own place."
  • Pat R.
"We get spoiled living in paradise. Sometimes we complain about our “commutes” but I’ve never had to drive more than 30 minutes to go to work. Traffic on the main thoroughfares can seem busy but relative to any modern major city, the highways here are quaint. "
  • Diana L. E.
"I feel safe and I wouldn’t think twice about going somewhere when it’s dark. I feel comfortable letting my grandchildren play out front."
