"Heading to the main streets there are many cars that don’t check when turning. Traffic can be a con if your pet likes to run off. "
  • Lucila Luna
"I don’t have anything to say, I think everyone is aware of their surroundings and that’s what I taught my children. "
  • Trulia User
"I been leaving here in Riverside for 3 years Is a great place to leave but homeless people, and crackhead could be a problem sometimes "

"Very neighborly and small town environment. Architectural beautiful. Nice walking sidewalks and lots to see"
  • Trulia User
"I've lived in quite a few cities in SoCal and this neighborhood is the best experience I've had. I moved here with my young son in 2018 and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Not only is the scenery beautiful but it's family oriented, safe to walk at night, and the schools are amazing. the homes are vintage and have won Neighborhood of the Year many times. I am happy to call Downtown Riverside my home. "
  • Trulia User
"No events to speak of but everyone is friendly and there is no drama between neighbors. Safe area where everyone watches out for each other. "
  • Patty W.
"love downtown. living.. there are lots of trees and the architecture of the older homes is lovely. great friendly atmosphere. "

  • Lina A. G. G.
"There’s not much traffic and my commute to my job is 5 minute driving and 15 walking to work. To go to events or anything is super close to walk there. It’s nice and safe even at night time "
  • David L.
"I HAVE LIVED DOWNTOWN RIVERSIDE FOR 21 YEARS. IT CAN BE A VERY SCARY AREA. CRIME IS HIGH. DRUG ARE EVERY WHERE. THINGS CAN CHANGE FROM OK TO BAD IN SECONDS. "

"they would like Rubidoux mountain and the park. The park is also well lit at night and has a nice track."
  • Trulia User
"Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Family and pet inclusive. Would recommend area to anyone searching for a new home."
  • Norma M.
"Grew up in the area but recently moved. Money for property being rented is waay to high for an area infested with homeless, drugs addicts which leads to a lot of break ins."
  • TS
"While some of the homes are redone inside, the neighborhood is still what it is. The rent is very high (as in $400 more than it should be) and not worth it."
  • Darren G. K.
"Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Family and pet inclusive. Would recommend area to anyone searching for a new home."
  • Ellismariejennifer
"there is to many cars and noise I would think it would bug the dogs I know it bugs me all the time I don't have any dogs though"
  • Falsexletters
"Dogs are always being walked in this neighborhood. There are plenty of places to walk to, there can be a lot of traffic during business hours, so it might be a little more dangerous to walk a dog around these times."
  • Annie
"easily access 91, 60, 215. RCH is 5 minutes away, kaiser riverside is 25, and corona regional medical center is 35 minutes."
  • Michelle F.
"beautiful neighborhood with such character in the architecture. great mix of people and made forever friends with some of my neighbors on Prospect Hill. "
  • Michelle F.
"music events, street markets, bars restaurants galore! great mix of age/ethnicity/economic background. "
  • Michelle F.
"living downtown you get to be on the forefront of change and the evolution of a city core. it makes you connect with your community and I love the beauty that the diversity gives a neighborhood. "
  • Salgado h.
"A lot of homeless people and they come in our yard and take showers with our hose they also sometimes sleep in our driveway "
  • Erica O.
"Walking distance from Downtown Riverside; location of mission inn antique stores resturance bars and coffee houses. Also very close to unique and artistic park where you could walk to Rubidoux Mountain. R'mountain is a grate place to hike many go up for a nice fresh view up the mountain to see the city lights and unique view. And if your not a walker you could always go though the Santana Bike trail and test your self how far you could go. It's an active location and could always find something to do; with friendly a neighborhood everybody is welcomed "
