The academics are strong, but what really stands out is how they support students. Teachers are intentional, engaged, and genuinely invested in helping each child grow—not just academically, but as a whole person. There’s a great balance of high expectations and real support.The community is a huge highlight. The yearly ART/STEAM fundraiser sets up the school for success for the whole year (in 2026, we raised over $30,000) to support the enrichment programs like science STEAM, Art, Spanish, and Tanner dance program. The PTA is active, thoughtful, and focused on creating meaningful experiences for students and families—whether it’s fun events, classroom support, or building connections across the school. It feels welcoming and collaborative without being overwhelming.Communication is consistent and clear, which makes a big difference as a parent. You always feel informed and included. There’s a real commitment here to transparency and continuous improvement.Overall, Oakridge feels like a place where students are known, supported, and set up to thrive—and where families are truly part of the community.
