6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe special kids are hauled to rooms because they cannot control themselves. Rarely do they show importance to the students' learning. Some other mischievous teachers are just there for that bag of coins. They don't even possess the Union Hill playground and they send their mischievous Goons to guard the playground. Does Union Hill even show any importance to the HMS Students going to have an exquisite time. NO they always let them be in that area of land as long as they don't interact with the children. Right this instant the HMS staff must halt their mischievous actions. It cracks me up that the mischievous school staff think they are all marvelous hot stuff RUBBISH. This is gobsmacking and it makes me feel a wee bit disquieted that this school also commits atrocities.Parent Review3w ago - Stony Point High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFormer student of Stony Point. So if you're looking on here to evaluate whether you should attend this school or send your kid here, then read this. I know what I'm talking about, I went here for 4 years. The teachers and classes here are great, however I rated it 1 star. The school administration is horrible. If you ask around with current and graduated students, and me, they will tell you they do not have generally good opinions about the administration and how the school is run. The administrators treat most students terribly and you can really tell most of them have a feeling of superiority to the students and look down on them. They pick favourites and then just ignore everyone else, or are generally rude and unwelcoming. I never felt supported or welcomed by them during my 4 years. Their management style and general way of running things at most times make no sense and events are very chaotic and poorly planned. When there is school-wide information that they want people to know, they are miserable at letting students know or emailing anyone about it. Again, the teachers themselves are mostly fantastic. But it's hard to feel accepted and welcome when the administration is this bad. They genuinely need to just fire all the higher-ups in that school and start over from scratch. There are rumours that the student population is quite crazy and generally not great. They don't call us "Stoners Joint" at other schools for nothing. Yes, I'll admit, many of the rumours are true. But it's not as bad as people actually think or say. Again, I really think it's a problem stemming from the administration, and several other factors out of Stony Point's control. The school is not "relaxed" with rules. Rules here are very strict. I mean hell, they literally have people circle the school in golf carts during lunch to make sure no one leaves campus when they're not supposed to, and shut down certain parts of the building to some students during the day. If you're looking for a school that LITERALLY feels like you're going to prison, then by god Stony Point is it! Not all students here are bad, most are not. The good things about the student population get overshadowed by the dumb things a few kids do. Anyway, thanks for listening to my spiel. Hope you find it at least somewhat helpful in any way.Other Review7mo ago - Caldwell Heights Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 3 children attend Caldwell. My oldest is currently in 5th grade and has been at CHE since Kindergarten. My youngest attending is in Pre-K. This year has definitely been different but has not changed my children's learning. The teachers do their best and it shows through my kids. They love to attend school and are looking forward to attending again next year. The teachers communicate well through email. The office staff if very helpful when needed.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 3828 Laurel Ridge Dr.
