If you can have your child go somewhere else. Kids get bullied and the school doesn’t do anything about it. My stepson gets bullied everyday and the school never intervenes and they don’t even try to teach the kids anything. Good luck getting a teacher that actually has a teaching certification as well.

"This neighborhood seems to be improving. I don’t know what parents need to know because I don’t have kids and don’t care to have any. The neighborhood has some cool bars and restaurants opening up and I do feel safe in this neighborhood. "

"Some parts are better than other. Definitely needs some love. The community is great though. Commuting is okay. Kingshighway is forever a cluster. Overall if I could rate, i would give it about a 6. Good place to start but not ideal for long term and family building. "

"I walk everywhere and it is fairly safe. There is a pretty strong drug presence in the area as I have seen used needles in the street but that is prevalent everywhere in South St Louis."
