Discovery is a great school where there is as much of a focus on character education as there is content standards.

I have a younger friend that goes to this school, and they are constantly miserable. I've never been to the school myself, but from what they tell me, they're are teased, taunted and "barked" at by the students on the daily. Their teacher is aware of this, and does nothing. They have also been yelled at by teachers. A good school environment IS NOT supposed to be like this. Something needs to change in terms of how things such as bullying are handled.

We are very happy with Williamston Community schools.

My experience has not been great for my child. Very cliquey environment.Have not had a good experience with the counselors. It was my child's first day in a new state and in a new high school and the counselor we dealt with was terrible. She was unwelcoming and we had no choice with his classes. Also, I thought it was strange that gym was only required for 1 semester for the entire 4 years!
