Private deck with garden view off the living room. Extra room downstairs which is a good office space or small temporary bedroom. Upstairs bedroom with ocean view and lots of storage space. Air conditioned, new floors, counter top and gas stove. Owner pays all utilities including gardener and Cox cable/internet. No pets except indoor cat OK. No smokers. Available July 1st and I am looking for a long term tenant only. Unfurnished.

Looking for a long term tenant but starting out with one year lease. My last four tenants stayed for 10 years, 10 years, 4 years (left to get married and buy a house in Santa Barbara) and 2 years (left to get a larger home with room for his mother after death of his father).

    "The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."

    "Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "
