"As a resident for over 5 years, I think Lake Forest is highly underrated. There are few places in OC where you can find affordable single-family houses with big lot. Besides, it has good schools, low crime, friendly neighborhoods and a lot of trees! I can't believe people haven't found out they could get better houses for the money here than nearby expensive cities."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 4 years now. There are shops and restaurants and lots of other amenities within a 10 block radius. Neighbors are friendly enough without being nosey. The worst thing about the lakeside community is the geese during mating season, so if that’s the only thing that can be found to complain about then you know it’s a peaceful place to live."

"I've lived here for 21 years and it's a nice area tucked in the foothills. Unfortunately, they have built so many houses that is becoming too crowded. Still nice, as we have some protected wilderness. But it is changing rapidly. "
