The Best Decision We've Made!After years of navigating the overcrowded, rigid, and impersonal school systems in the Bay Area, moving to this area in 2018 and enrolling our children at Placer Elementary has been amazing. We didn't just find a new school; we found a community, and we have absolutely fallen in love with it.The difference is the people. The teachers and staff at Placer are incredibly caring and invested in the students. It's the kind of place where teachers my kids have never even had in their classrooms greet us by name in the hallways. This small TK-8 grade community has allowed our children to feel seen, supported, and truly part of a school family.Most importantly, the support for individual student needs is exceptional. My child has an IEP, and for the first time, it feels genuinely personalized and truly helpful. The team at Placer took the time to understand my child's specific needs and created a plan that has led to real, tangible progress.We have three children attending, in three different grades, and every single one of them is happy and thriving. They are not only succeeding academically but are also growing in confidence. I'll admit, I've seen some negative reviews and they leave me feeling confused and sad, because our experience has been the complete opposite. I truly believe that any family who gets involved, whether it's through the PTC, volunteering in the classroom, or attending school events, will quickly see the incredible amount of love and dedication that defines this school.For any family looking for a school with a huge heart, amazing community support, and teachers who genuinely care, we cannot recommend Placer Elementary highly enough. It has been a wonderful and transformative experience for our entire family.

"It’s very family friendly and feels so safe! I have lived here just shy of 4 years and I love it! It’s always growing and evolving the restaurants and shops in the business owners create such a happy and fun environment for the town. It feels like a small little town separated from the recipe making it so unique."

"People are very sweet and family friendly. They stop you in the grocery store to tell you how cute your kids are. Also, a Loomis isn’t cookie-cuter like our neighboring towns. It has tons of character."

"We don’t have sidewalks, but otherwise the area is quiet and safe, and pretty too. It’s easy to walk through the downtown, which is very cute and High Hand Nursery is dog friendly too."

"I have lived in Loomis since 1989 and am now retired from both Airline Pilot and Bridge design engineering... It is a wonderful and beautiful area. San Francisco or Reno-Lake Tahoe in are under a 2 hour drive. Sacramento is under 30 miles away. One of the nicest most beautiful areas in the USA with much gold rush history nearby. Easy access to rivers and lakes...snow skiing, water sports and mountains nearby. Friendly and beautiful with Mediterranean weather."

"Wonderful country setting in the suburbs! Area borders on state park with stunning views of Folsom Lake and foothills. Lakeshore Estates is located right on the Folsom Lakeshore next to several million dollar prestige home areas such as Clos de Lac ,etc.located just off Auburn Folsom Road. "
