"Unsure, I don’t own a dog. But,the neighbors are good with picking up after their dogs. The neighborhood is dog friendly. It can get pretty busy with the holidays. Other than, that I’m pretty good with the neighborhood. Also, the kids go to the same school. Which makes the kids more comfortable (and Familiar with each other). And the parents know each other. Because, their children go to the same schools."
  • Ms. Hudson
"I love my neighbors we look out for each other. There are parks and park district center for the kids and adults. Schools are in walking distance."

"The Ashburn neighborhood is a tight community, neighbors care for each other and the commute is the very best. You can walk to the 79th Street bus stop to go East and west or the Pulaski bus stop to travel north or south. The orange line is north of Pulaski, a 15 minute on the bus ride or the Metra south bound train going to the Downtown area is a 5 minute bus ride on Southwest Highway and 79th Street. Midway airport is a 10-20 minute ride from Ashburn depending on traffic."

It’s 10 minutes from Evergreen Park shopping and grocery stores, 15 to Orland Park Malls, 25 from Palos hiking and preserves, 10 min walk to Metra and our neighbors are all so welcoming and friendly. There are kids out playing all the time and they can leave their toys out in the front yard with no concern. "
