6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had the worst experience as a parent with this school, I could only imagine how the children feel. My son got in trouble and was in iss all day but I was not informed until he got home from school by him. When I called and asked the assistant principal why I wasn't informed she said she emailed me (after school) so I was informed and she doesn't see why in matters if I'm informed before he gets home from school or not. That's when I brought up the fact that they have children call their parents to tell them they have lunch detention because they chewed gum or didn't have their ID visible and asked how that's important to the parent but not if they have iss all day for doing something wrong. Again, her response was she doesn't see why it matters. What a joke. I'm in no way upset that he had iss but I'm upset that I find out he's chewing gum before I find out there's an actual issue.Parent Review1y ago - Ironwood Ridge High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated in 2023 and can confidently say this is the worst high school in Arizona.Many teachers have left or are leaving due to the sad excuse for an administration. They do not care about you what so ever. From bullying, wrongful suspensions, black mold poisoning, racism, etc this is a horrible school and would not recommend for any students wishing to have a good high school experience.
