"the property that I own in Duxbury is very unique. I own 6 + acres and I have 17 abutters but do not live in a specific neighborhood of sorts. but my neighbors are very friendly "
  • Suzking25
"My neighborhood is unique because of the great schools and amazing Duxbury beach !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
  • wlc33
"We moved to Duxbury in 2000 from a suburb west of Boston. Only regret is not moving to Duxbury sooner. The access to the beach, and other recreational activities is great. The school system is highly rated and both our children went on to top rated schools with good academic scholarships. Proximity to shopping is convenient . Town and schools are very active in the arts and sports. The new high school, junior high school and public safety buildings will all soon be in service. Town government is very good with a high degree of residence participation. Multiple options to commuting to Boston including two nearby train lines, the bus and ferries out of Hingham. Many community activities for all ages, including seniors. The library, Duxbury Maritime School, harbor and Performing Arts Center are true gems. "
  • Mark M.
"Friendly Quiet Beach Town with an excellent school system and a great place to raise a family."
  • Deb S.
"Located in the village of Green Harbor, this home is perched on one of the most beautiful beaches on the South Shore. Green Harbor is home to a commercial fishing fleet, a yacht club and several marinas. Relax on the rocking chair porch, watch the sunrise over the ocean. Home features a first floor bedroom suite and a second floor suite with spectacular views! This is a walking friendly neighborhood; walk to the post office, general store, Lobster Pound and more. "
