About this House

A wonderful Western Reserve Style home built in 1822 with an attached single car garage, plus a bonus detached single car garage. The house has many original features including open beams, a fire place, and an enclosed porch in the master bedroom. The house has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a renovated kitchen/dining room. New carpet (2021) going upstairs, in upstairs hallway and both upstairs bedrooms. In the fully finished walkout basement is a cozy rustic living room with a fireplace, open beams, and an optional bar area, and sliding glass doors lead out to a large patio.
The house is 1368 sq. ft. plus a fully finished walkout basement. The house has vinyl siding and shingle roof, and a partially fenced backyard and a pond. It is very convenient to the school, park, and grocery store, etc. also easily accessible to main routes, US 30 and 71.

Negatives:
The landscaping in the back yard can be a little much if you don't have a green thumb (which we don't) and the downstairs shower will need replaced. The garage door on the detached garage out back will need either the window on the door replaced or a new door. We feel this is a good trade off for the new carpet we're still paying on in the upstairs of the home.

"Roads are a mess , sidewalks are tripping hazards , not very handicap accessible. Cars speed down the streets. Most the roads are crumbling on the edges and have a soft foundation. Village does no repairs or resurfacing"
