"There is an eight mile walking path with poop bags and disposal cans along the way. You will see many other dog owners on your walk. "
  • Pj9322
"Great place to raise a family. We have been here for 40 years and plan to live here for the rest of our lives. My son is buying a home here to raise his family. "

  • Angela.lewis
"To MA is long and painful...traffic is heavy at peak times to get to and from the town, Litchfield is definitely getting busier"
  • Melissamariem1
"I drive to Hollis for work & it’s pretty miserable because I have to drive through downtown Nashua. "
  • Andrea M.
"Safe area and lots of wildlife. Good people and schools. Small and relatively quite. Houses are somewhat close together. Close community. Walking trails. "
  • Andrea M.
"Lots of space for dogs but very low tolerance for barking or noise. Lots of dogs often get loose or lost. Fisher cats and other wild animals pose a threat to small dogs. "
  • Cherylgettings
"Great area to bring up a family. Schools are awsome and many family activities in the community. my favorites have been: Recycled Percussion Concert, Fire Truck Parade, Fishing Derby and Winterfest."
  • Cherylgettings
"Bike path with bags and waste containers. Long bike path away from traffic. Many trails to walk and explore"
  • Cheney1
"As an owner of three dogs I can tell you there are always other people and pups walking around. Lots of opportunity to meet other dog lovers"
  • Mvmc91
"Many bugs, very quiet. Close to Manchester, has bike trails, lot of dogs, mail is sometimes unreliable. Not sure where the school even is. "
  • Darlene L.
"I’ve lived in Litchfield for 26 years. It’s a perfect community to raise a family. It’s small and close-knit. "
  • Melissamariem1
"Just moved here 3 months ago. So I’m still getting used to the areas. We don’t have much around Litchfield... but Londonderry is 10 min away "
  • Melissamariem1
"I just moved to this neighborhood & this state a couple of months ago. It’s a brand new development!"
  • Mark
"Amazing and safe place to raise a family. No Nightlife or places that kids can get into trouble. There is no commerical business and Litchfield is difficult to get in and get out or a distance to travel. Therefore, I feel that the only people that come here are locals and Halloween enthusiasts for Spookyworld. Excellent place to get farm fresh veggies and produce. Love Litchfield. Also, has been historically an extremely LOW Violence and crime."
  • brian m.
"Litchfield is a very safe community and a great place to raise children. The high school is ranked #142 in the nation (2014 Newsweek magazine). There are many places to walk (bike path runs length of town) and hike (Litchfield Town Forest). There are tremendous opportunities for community involvement. It's a quiet town bordered to the north by the city of Manchester, NH and to the south by Nashua, NH. However, the town is quiet and peaceful."
  • Genesa2
"We've lived in Litchfield for 3 and a half years. We moved here from Nashua. It's a nice quiet place to raise kids. The schools are great. Nice place to live if you are looking for a quiet, country setting."
